SYNOFOAM® Antifoams
Foam formation is a pervasive problem in many aqueous industrial processes, which severely disrupts operational processes and can even lead to process shutdowns. The specific use of suitable anti-foaming agents and defoamers is an effective way of quickly and effectively eliminating existing foam respectively of already preventing and controlling the foam formation right from the beginning.
SYNOFOAM® anti-foaming agents are highly effective antifoams and defoamers, which are developed for powerful and permanent foam control of aqueous and non-aqueous media. SYNOFOAM® products can be used in a wide variety of production processes.
SYNOFOAM® defoamers are water-free, 100% concentrates formulated without the addition of biocides. Depending on the requirements, they can either be used as antifoams in concentrates and formulations to prevent foam build-up, or they can be added as tankside defoamers directly to the foaming medium to rapidly eliminate foam.
Typical applications of SYNOFOAM® defoamers include foam control in water miscible cutting fluids and other metalworking fluids (aqueous / nonaqueous), industrial lubricants, lubricants / release agents for forming, defoaming of industrial and surface cleaners, anti-corrosives, degreasing agents and chemicals for the wood and printing industry, foam control in process and washing fluids of metal and surface pretreatment and in plants for water and wastewater treatment.
SYNOFOAM® X-Fire is a defoamer concentrate that was specially designed to rapidly destroy unwanted or excess produced firefighting foam.
